Palestine solidarity

The Palestine cause is very close to a lot of Cowfolk hearts. Over the years we’ve made multiple trips to Palestine to witness first hand the situation there, played football and made lasting friendships. We have a strong relationship with Hebron International Resource Network (HIRN) and have raised thousands of pounds for Palestinian causes over the years. Cowgirl Harry even made a film about the Cowgirls trip to the West Bank with republica Internationale.

Trans inclusion in sport

For a long time women and other marginalised genders have faced barriers to participation in sport at all levels. This year, the FA and other sporting organisations banned trans women from competing in women’s leagues. The Bristol Football Casual League (BFCL), which is the league the Easton Cowgirls football team play in and is run for women and marginalised genders, repsonded by disafilliating from the FA. We are now working with BFCL to run the league independently. Queer FA.
