There is a growing number of Cowboys and Cowgirls opening their eyes to the benefits of Pilates for preventing and responding to certain types of injuries as well as general strength / flexibility. Our resident physio John Wiley has been banging on about it for years in fact, well ahead of the game! Kev has been in touch with a local instructor regarding a specific pilates-for-football course and this is due to begin in early May, running every Thursday at 6pm for 6 weeks. The venue is the Bristol Movement Space in St George and the cost is £7 per session with a commitment to the full 6 week course. Amy is not only a qualified instructor but has also been employed by a number of high profile professional football clubs to advise on the benefits of Pilates, so you will be i very good hands.
