The Netball Team and “special” guest won the gardening quiz thing in The Plough. The prize was cake.

Netball 1 beat somebody by 21-24 or something. But they won. I was told the score in the pub but a few light ales and a win on the pick-a-team scratch and sniff later and I couldn’t remember. Also, Jo has been unable to update their facebook page because she has an ouchy on here boo boo (A.K.A quite horrific injury).
If you would like to play pick-a-team scratch and sniff get to The Plough for about 4:30pm when the teams get in from their sundry venues. Scott and Chris will be there to crowbar your money from your well concealed purses, in return you pick a team and when 30 people have done likewise you might win £15. The other £15 goes towards the 2012 tournament fund. If you would like to take pick-a-team scratch and sniff to your team get some cards from Scott or Chris in The Plough.
After a “good” nil-nil last week the Suburbans beat Avonmouth Res. 2-1. After 8 games they are now 5 points clear at the top of the league.
The Downs A were thumped 5-0 by Beachcroft LLP.
The Downs B beat Saints Old boys 2-1.
