The Saturday A Team lost to Bristol Barcelona 2-1 and finished 10th in 1st Division in their last season on the Downs.

The Cricket 3rd Team – which came into existence, but failed to win a game, last season –  recorded their first ever victory beating Avonside by 12 runs. Rob Tinx took 5 wickets, Gary scored 35 and Geoff scored 28. Well done to Tinx who was captain in the place of the injured Uberpops Stevo, who paced the boundary like an expectant father.

The Sunday A Team lost the Sid Rumins cup final to Hanham FC 1-3. But don’t forget that they are Bristol & District Sunday League Division 1 Champions.

The Cricket 2nd Team lost to Winford by 124 runs. Bill opened the batting with his dad and scored 13, his dad got 14.

The Cricket 1std Team lost to Bath Exiles by 5 wickets. DF scored 35 and Dunc bowled 5 overs for 6 runs.

The Netball Team held a cake off in The Plough. Only 1 cake got dropped (outside the plough) and the grand total of £104 was raised for them street  kiddies. Well done to Mare for baking the winning entry (expertly judged by Jacke, Tiny, Ru and Guy) and to Dorian for winning it.

The Oi!Cotts played a storming gig at The Plough, thanks to Valdez and Spiteful Way for their support in raising money for the street kids and Bristol Antifa. It was a joy to see DC 2, Bill and Eddy moshing together.

The Casuals lost their Harry Mottram Cup semi-final to Easton Monday 0-1 after extra time. But remember that they are Bristol Casuals League 2nd Division champions.

The Cricket Friendly Team beat 1-in-12 and the Oi!Cotts by 5 Wickets. Curtis made a great début for the Cowboys taking 3 wickets for 23 runs off 4 overs. The Webgimp then got over exited and scored 53 runs, running DC 2 out  (who got 29 and hit his first ever 6) along the way. Gary got 37 not out and Ev got bowled for a duck second ball. Thanks to 1-in-12 and the Oi!Cotts who travelled a long way for this match, we hope to have a rematch next year.

And hats off to Tinx, Billy C and DC 2 for managing to play 3 games of cricket each in three days.
