On Saturday 13th April, the newly formed Cowfolk Film Club will be screening the brilliant ‘Generation Palestine’ for free at the ECC (7.30pm). Following the screening, the filmmakers are holding a fundraiser across the road at the Plough (9pm), collecting donations for a film festival run that the pub will be matching towards Medical Aid for Palestine.
The film is an emotive and joyful look at life in Bristol for a group of young Palestinians and touches on themes of cultural expression in the face of repression, and the power of communal love.
All are welcome and we look forward to seeing you for an evening of education, conversation, & dancing via film, bands and DJs.
