Downs B beat Torpedo A 5-3.

Netball reported thus:

The 6’s took on Cosmos today in the icy rain and made them wish they’d have stayed at home, beating them 32-6. Mare got player from them and Lou from us. Cracking start to the 2nd half of the season!

Like this time last year, the 11s made it a DOUBLE WIN DAY (happiness best expressed in capitals!), with a victory over Olveston Reds 13-11. After a full 15 minutes of play the score was, unbelievably, only 1-1. Thankfully it ceased to look like a football score come half time as the scores inched up! We slowly closed the gap over the course of the game and clinched the victory with some great goals in the last quarter. Well done to everyone for slugging it out in the freezing weather and big thanks to Helen for helping us out with some top shooting. Cat was awared player of the match by Olveston and there was a three-way tie of Emma D, Holly and Max from us.
