Downs A beat Clifton St Vincents 2-3 with a last minute penalty. They are in second place in the league, wrestling manfully with promotion. On the 21st April they have  a huge match against Sneyd Park Res.

Downs B lost to Green Park Rangers 0-4. I am sure it was a manful 0-4… if there is such a thing.

The Netball 1s apparently received a heavy spanking but have not reported it on their facebook page. In the words of the well known song – “I has all gone quite over there”. I am not sure how manful this defeat was, and lessons hard learnt will prevent me from speculating.

After their first ever victory last week the Ultras lost to Portishead Jurassic Sparks 0-7. If you see one of them for god’s sake buy them a pint, put a manly arm around them and say “there, there”.
