Community Day

Hello there folks. A few local residents involved with the Easton For Everyone community safety / anti mugging campaign are organising an event at ECC on July 17th. We plan to make it a proper community social event and also hope to raise some funds for the work of Easton For Everyone.

Here’s what we’re planning:

Showing films exploring issues of gangs, youth culture and community safety and solidarity.

A street awareness and self defence workshop.

Street art and games.

A 5 a side football tournament for young people.

An evening meal to raise funds.

We also hope to have a speaker from the Easton based gang awareness project.

So, we were wondering if this is something that the Cowboys and Cowgirls feel you could get involved with.

Specifically, we’d really appreciate help in organising the football, as your club clearly has the experience necessary.
