The Suburbans beat Finshponds Old Boys Res 8-0 so they finished third in the 1st Division. Played 28, won 16, drew 7, lost 5, for 88, against 43, points 55.

Uberpops got us off to a good start by managing to win the toss and we put Old Park in to bat. Budge and Garner seem to have swapped souls with Garner bowling 8 overs for just 5 runs but taking no wickets. Ev then weighed in with 4 wickets for 24 runs and with a confident call caught an enormous skyer off his own bowling. With tight bowling from Dutch and Roger at the death Old Park were kept to 127 for 9 off their 40 overs.

The Cowboys batting got off to a shaky start as Old Park opened with 2 genuinely quick bowlers slumping to 39 for 4. The innings was stabilised by Ben who got 35 not out and Dutch who hit 59 not out, including a 6 that almost made it out of the gate of the chocolate factory.

Ben won man of the match and Ev won cider moment for his skyer caught and bowled.

The Sunday 1st Cricket Team were rained off.

Berent took 3 wickets for 47 runs as C&M reached 263 for 8 with their opener hitting 137. In reply the Cowboys reached 126 all out in 31.4 overs. Bernet hit 50.

Over the weekend the Cowboys & Cowgirls also won the St. Pauli tournament in Hamburg.
