Stuff From The Peashooter

The End Of Season Awards Do is on Saturday 5th June 2010 at the Easton Community Centre from 7pm. Please note this is a change of date and location – last month’s Peashooter was incorrect.

There will be a sit down meal, a glass of bubbly, entertainment, DJs and the Awards to be presented by very special guests. The night will be hosted by the one and only Peewee. Dress code is black tie/cocktail wear. All of the above for only £5. Tickets and tables will be allocated to teams, the idea being that each team manager will give out the tickets. They will be ready by next weekend, so don’t hassle the managers until then (plenty to go around!) There is a meat or veggie option on the food and we will be running the bar, the tickets will have full details.

Dust off yer DJs and wipe down that party frock, cos we is given a bottle of bubbly to the best dressed cowfolk.

The football AGM is now the 19th may at hawks gym 7 oclock sharp.

Attention: due to unprecedented resignations please read minutes of last meeting. Over the coming weeks to prevent endless meetings would players please come to the agm with nominations for managers and secretaries for next season. We are also losing our long standing treasurer, Paul C. So please think about this, it is very important. I hope to get all positions filled at the agm. Cowgirls Meeting

Meeting on Monday 10th May at 8.30 in the Queen’s Head (next to Eastville Park) for anyone interested in helping Cowgirls fund raise for South African women’s football. Summer’s here so Cowgirls football training has moved outdoors on to grass. We’re training on Monday evenings from 7pm – 8.30pm on the flat pitches at the top end of Eastville park. We welcome new players so feel free to drop by and join us for footie in the sunshine.
