Frenchay Shower

The cricket team play there home games at Frenchay and their chairman has issued the following plea, it would be great if you all could save the tokens from any copy of the Evening Post that you may happen accross:

A REQUEST/PLEA FROM STEVE WOODSFORD, CHAIRMAN FRENCHAY CC

The club has entered a competition run by the Evening Post , the first prize being refurbishment of dressing rooms/shower area up to a value of £5000. Those of you who have been in this area of the club know how desperately this is needed, those who haven’t been in are fortunate!

We have reached the last 10 in the competition and the winner will now be decided by the number of tokens collected from the Evening Post over two weeks from Tuesday 16th June. All we are asking ALL members to do is buy an Evening Post each night (only 37p) and collect the tokens. Please ask friends, neighbours, family and colleagues to help as if we can win this it would be a huge benefit to the club.

Please help – it is rare that such a small outlay of money and time by members could provide such a benefit.

As I am on holiday from Monday please approach any committee member with any queries.
